De Vere Cottage

This cottage is part of a U shaped 1870’s building with a paved courtyard planted in the middle that used to be the stables of Kensington Palace. The developer Victoria Road Designs bought it in a dilapidated state and stripped it to the bricks while keeping all the striking period features, such as the beautiful oak staircase. She opened up the attic on the top floor to increase ceiling height and opened skylights in the hallway and master bathroom.
