Devon Manor House Garden

The history of the building and its surrounding landscape were important considerations in the design by Bartholomew Landscaping of a garden for this Grade II* Listed manor house on a 123-acre estate. Using traditional materials and craftsmanship, the scheme consisted of a series of gardens connected by a thread of gravity-fed water flowing through the entire site. Close to the house, sumptuous planting predominated and, further on, orchards and meadows were planted to frame the garden.
