Fletcher’s Cottage Spa

Part of the 550-acre Archerfield estate in East Lothian, this spa was a labour of love for designer Sian Parry Jones – she spent hours creating the wall cladding from old potato crates and hessian, and used many reclaimed and recycled materials found on the estate. The look is in harmony with nature, with pale painted wooden furniture, stone flags warmed with underfloor heating, woodburning stoves, sheepskin rugs, and squashy sofas and cushions. Other sustainable touches include relaxation chairs made by Amish communities using reclaimed Canadian barn wood.
