Les Bains – La Salle à Manger
Hotel les Bains was built as a bathhouse in the late 19th century, but is better known as one of Paris’ chicest nightspots of the 1980s and 1990s. It has now reopened as a restaurant, bar and club, with a new feature attached, a hotel. Tristan Auer designed the rooms and suites, while RDAI took charge of the ground floor restaurant and bar. The bar and restaurant’s standout feature is its liquid-looking vaulted ceilings in red lacquer, designed to look their surreal best after dark.
