Notting Hill Mansion
This highly unusual townhouse on London’s Ladbroke Estate dates from the 1840s, and is almost unique for the width of its street frontage combined with the size of its private garden. It had been much altered over the years, however: TCA’s renovation restored the building’s balance by rebuilding the eastern wing and adding a very contemporary structural steel colonnade across the garden elevation. The design of the whole interior is completely new.
